In the contemporary era, many people believe that instead of building shopping centers, governments should invest in developing public facilities such as parks and sports centers. I fully agree that enhancing public facilities should take precedence over building shopping centers.
On the one hand, investing in public facilities can significantly affect people’s laziness and improve their productivity. Facilities such as sports centers encourage people to leave their homes and go to the gym, which makes them more organized. To illustrate, If an individual who is addicted to exercise daily can benefit from these facilities by improving their health condition. However it can highly influence clothing brands, like Nike or Adidas.
On the other hand, spending on public infrastructure will be equal for everyone despite their financial wage, compared to shopping centers where only money dominates. Sport facilities such as basketball court and football pitches can be accessible for everyone, for youth and for elders. Nevertheless, completely replacing entertainment places should be shortsighted. Shopping malls and entertainment complexes can bring economic catalysts, by highly impacting jobs and local economies.
In conclusion, although it can bring many issues such as decreasing profit of local economies and job loss. Investing in public infrastructure is more beneficial for individuals to create equality among people.
