Band 6+: Some people think that technology is making people less creative. Others think it helps people become more creative. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It is often argued that advanced technology is making individuals less creativity. Although, a few individuals might agree with the view, I completely disagree because it promotes cognitive abilities, creativity and makes communications faster among people all over the world. This essay will explore how these factors justify my opinion.

There are multiple factors associated with this trend. First of all, latest technology helps to improve cognitive abilities and creativity. Greater applications such as music composition, video editing and digital art can be done by the use of latest technology and allow young minds to be creative and improve critical thinking by generating new ideas. Moreover, Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as Gemini and ChatGPT helps students to find solutions of their question with deep example rather than using traditional methods. For example, in these days Cam scanner helps peoples to develop more creative photos of different documents, which is very essential to apply for different positions, enhancing their cognitive capabilities. Hence, it is a reasonable to claim that creativity and cognitive thinking of persons are more likely to escalate by using technology rather than diminish.

Secondly, another important factor supporting my argument is that technology helps to enhance communicating all over the world. Devices such as smartphones, laptops, computers and internet allow people can not only talk but also see their loved ones from far distances, and helps to build better communication among their friends and relatives. This may develop strong relations and improve overall quality of life. For instance, a survey conducted by United States (US) indicated that societies that follow this approach tend to be more stable and progressive in their daily life. Similarly, a study from Cambridge University found that young people benefit more when they are encouraged in this direction. Hence, this point also favors my statement.

Finally, my argument is also supported by the idea that technology party do not provide creativity, but other aspects such as proper sleep, physical exercises and healthy diet plan can play a crucial role to enhance creativity and critical thinking. Especially in modern era, it can prepare individuals for future challenges. Therefore, it is another reason why I support this statement.

In conclusion, although people can be more creative by using latest technologies because it promotes cognitive abilities, creativity and makes communication faster among citizens everywhere, it also has negative aspects. Ultimately, I strongly believe that people should be careful, create balance and can get a wider range of benefits from technology.
