Positive And Negative

Band 7+: Many people today are choosing to travel to other countries. Why is this happening? Is this a positive or negative development?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

While opponents are against immigration of young people to first world countries, proponents have a different view and believe that this is a positive development. I am of the belief that young men and women should travel to western countries to achieve their academic and future dreams.

To begin with, many students travel for an academic reason. In other words, if youth want to pursue their master’s degree, they can do that by going to premium universities in western countries. An eminent example is Egypt where many parents encourage their children to finish their university studies in advanced countries, such as Canada, America, and the United Kingdom. This example shows that obtaining an academic degree is a family dream and not just the ambition of a student.

In addition, many adults immigrate to other countries to increase their income. To illustrate, when young people graduate from the university, they try to travel to rich countries to earn more money. For instance, in Egypt many men travel to the gulf countries to have a better salary to cover the expenses of their family. What can be said is that immigration is the only solution for poor families to survive in poor countries.

In conclusion, after this essay has shown why people travel to other countries, it can be said that this is important to achieve their academic dreams and increase their income. I reiterate my view that immigration to other countries is a positive development for both academic and financial purposes.

Nowadays, the number of people who travel overseas is growing.
