There is a growing trend in which many students regard concentrate at school as complex. While this shift can be largely attributed to excessive use of mobile phones and social media. I fervently believe that the problem can be effectively addressed by regulating phone use and establishing extra curriculums.
One compelling reason why a vast majority of pupils find it challenging to focus on school can be phone addiction. With many parents do not control children’s phone use, students addicted to phone and social media particularly Instagram. The implications are not confined to concentration issues, but also psychological burn out, ultimately resulting in brain rot. This is exemplified by many school students Uzbekistan. According to a survey, which was conducted in 2024. Over 90% Uzbek pupils’ GPA rate declined due to over use of social media. Therefore, it can be a root cause for difficulties at school.
To combat this issue effectively, it is imperative for parents to take decisive action by controlling their children’s phone use. When parents limit children’s screen time, pupils make time for concentration exercises, thereby fostering concentration skills. Furthermore, schools should establish fixed core subjects and extra curriculums such as how to use social media properly and effectively. In this regard, implementing such structured approaches will successfully tackle the root cause of this problem.
In conclusion, digital dependency is the main reason why many students fail to concentrate at school. However, implementing those adjustments can successfully resolve this issue.
