In recent years, stylish clothes have been increasingly purchased by numerous people. I believe that there are more positive effects.
Regarding the positive impacts, firstly, a boost in confidence and creativity can be observed after wearing fashionable clothes. Wearing clothes that you feel good in can increase your confidence and self-esteem, blending in with a flamboyant outfit. Since many eminent people prefer purchasing fashionable clothes in order to look creative, such as Rock, Emma Stone, and Tom Holland. If they feel confident in their lives, they do not have to be shy to do their work properly. If, in contrast, they do not wear stylish clothes, they could be seen as more flamboyant and lacking in self-esteem.
Concerning the negative effects, shopping is a time-consuming activity for the wisest and richest people. Steve Jobs, for example, had used only one simple style, wearing observable clothes such as black sweaters and blue jeans in order to not waste time, preferring a more straightforward way and a way of less time consumption. Furthermore, compulsive shopping can become an addictive behavior, leading to negative consequences in various aspects of life. It is undeniable that if people spend more time on shopping, they want more. As a result, they will be getting a sense of beauty every time during shopping. For instance, John, my mate, wanted to purchase a mound of clothes. Despite buying all the clothes he wanted, he wanted more. Then he was punished by his mother because of his addiction.
In conclusion, although shopping can help to look confident and flamboyant, these are negligible compared to acquiring addictive behavior and requiring the consumption of valuable time. I believe that there are more negative effects than positive ones.
