Whether one should live in a city or in a small town or village has always remained a topic of discussion, where some believe that living in a large city offers more advantages. Although city people have easy access to several facilities like, medical and sports, they have less free spaces and noisy surroundings.
Human settlements historically often settled near resourceful areas where they have access to food, water and transport; however, with passage of time, needs and desires of masses changed. People now prefer to live in places where they have easy and affordable access to facilities like hospitals, sports, roads, transport, network, and education and these are often found better in large cities. The life has changed drastically from past few decades that people prefer to live a smoother life that they were having in the past. Moreover, we often see governments putting more focus in the development of city people that also encourages more people to migrate in to cities.
Despite having so many benefits, city people often struggle to live a peaceful life. They keep their schedule tight and have less leisure time. Their work-life balance often lead them in to a stressed condition and such cases are less seen in village people. Cities do not have much free public spaces, this in turn also makes them to feel bounded. The people do not show so much hospitality and they end up in a lonely condition. Therefore, living in a city offer great challenges that many people fail to resist and then they struggle.
In conclusion, city life at the end provide access to higher facilities like connectivity and medical that prevail less in villages, while at the other end they have feel congested in that atmosphere. Thus living in a large city shares both advantages and disadvantages.
