In this essay i will explore the both stances given above and state my opinion.
One of the primary reasons why working remotely is better for the employees and their families is saving travel time. As, many workers have to travel significant distance from home to office and office to home which wastes a lot of time. For instance, my uncle works in the neighbouring district which about 1 hour away and in this way he spend 2 hours daily while travelling. Furthermore, extra spending on travelling can also be a significant factor due to the high fuel charges and other vehicle maintenance charges. Another reason for this stance is that the workers feel more comfortable in their home and easily accessible for their family in case of any emergency. Ultimately, these factors suggest that working from insteading of workplace has significant benefits for workers and their family.
On the other hand, the first key argument against remote working is that productivity level is decreased due to having not professional environment at home. As children in the home can create disturbances in the work and it may become difficult to concentrate. For instance, my preparation of ielts exam provides a clear example of how this point is valid. In my mock tests of ielts listening and reading in home, i was hardly achieving 6 bands, whereas, when i practiced the mock tests in an institution without any disturbance my score improved to 7. Additionally, remotely working also creates problems for families of the workers as they have to have to keep the home quite which may affect the mental growth of children.These factors combine to make a compelling case for this viewpoint being accurate and well-founded.
Taking everything into consideration, there are valid arguments on both sides, whereas, I firmly maintain that most appropriate stance is that working from home is better than working in office and it has more benefits for the workers and thier families. As discussed above, saving time and money on travelling provide strong justification for this viewpoint. Moreover, the disadvantages of this stance as mentioned in above paragraph can also be minmized with some appropriate measures.
