The increasing number of population in urban areas lead people to accommodate in homes where there is insufficient space or outdoor areas. From my point of view, it can bring numerous negative effects on residents.
The first stance for this point is that the lack of spacious area brings discomfort to residents. The limited size of houses hinders people to do their daily activities comfortably. Specifically, some extensive families find it hard to split private spaces for each member, they may find it hard to perform daily tasks with no interference. Moreover, restricted areas can foster inclinations towards aggression and irritation, which may gradually develop into arguments with other people. This can be attributed to the staggering rise in family conflicts.
The second explanation for this point is that without any spaces for outdoor activities, people’s heath is adversely affected. To clarify, people fail to do physical activities physical games involve a large and spacious area to perform, which play an important role in enhancing their overall well-being. Infrequent exposure to the outside atmosphere can deter them from relieving tensions and improve their mental health. For instance, people are overwhelmed with the loads of work, enjoying the nature and breathing fresh air outside has therapeutic effects on their mind, however, inadequate spaces may lead them to be burn out. Last but not least, the limited size of houses causes negative repercussions on the work efficiency. If there is a lack of private place, people can be susceptible to distractions which stems from noises, and others bustling activities. This means they fail to concentrate on their work at the expense of reaching the full productivity.
In conclusion, living in a tiny space or areas where there is no outside zones can cause a numerous disadvantages including discomfort, residents’ health and work productivity. It is advisable that people should opt for homes with enough spaces for each individual to live comfortably.
