In the modern’s society, an increasing number of citizens are choosing to stay in an apartment with limited space or without outside areas. From my perspective, this tendency brings negative drawbacks for health and the development of children.
First and foremost, the lack of a natural environment could be one of the most popular disadvantages of living in a small outdoor space home. Although this kind of house is extremely more economical than others, it can not afford the principles of a comfortable house, especially the lack of exposure to nature and fresh air.. As a consequence, people living in a small space house might not have an opportunity to do physical exercise , take part in outdoor activities or have a sense of relaxation after a busy long day, which means they may suffer from many chronic diseases such as obesity or eye issues.
Secondly, owning a house with the absence of outside space can also lead to the difficulty in the growth of children. This is mainly because children should have grown in a suitable environment that stimulates their natural abilities such as creativity and curiosity when discovering new things. Consequently, this limitation on outdoor areas can restrict children to develop their personal skills, leading to harmful effects on overall mental growth. For example, many children living in a flat without outside areas are more likely to play computer games instead of joining outdoor activities to boost their imagination about the outside environment.
In conclusion, while small accommodations may be a cheaper living option, they have detrimental effects on mental health and the process of raising children.
