Ready-made food from restaurants and convenience stores it is needed a lot by people nowadays right now rather than cooking for themselves. This has both benefits and drawbacks in equal measure.
The trend nowadays is that many people buy ready-made food instead of cooking for themselves and it has many advantages. First of all, the current people now have a busy lifestyle like having a daily routine filled with high work demands, constant tasks, and have a little free time, because of that they do not have any time for cooking. Furthermore, they can easily find and buy a quick meals anywhere, such as in restaurants, minimarkets, and street foods. For instance, office workers must wake up at sunrise to begin their life from preparing themselves to go to work and after that they work until eight hours a day.
On the other hand, this option has two major drawbacks. Firstly, ready-made food can be the cause of health problems, there are processed foods that are processed in an unhealthy way such as adding items containing artificial additives, colorings, and preservatives not used in home cooking. Consequently, food that is consumed becomes high in calories and it is not healthy for the body’s health. In addition, calories can cause the body to being unnatural weight gain which is called obesity. Obesity is a chronic medical condition defined by an excessive accumulation of body fat that increases the risk of negative health effect. One of the causes of obesity is by consuming more calories through food and drinks than the body burns through daily activity and metabolism.
In summary, while there are some advantages for buying ready-made food from restaurants or convenience foods instead of cooking for themselves, there are also disadvantages showing that both sides of this development should be carefully viewed.
