During these modern times, many wild species have been extinct and endangered. I will discuss the reasons for this and the solutions as well as potential in the following essay.
It is generally agreed that one of the causes of this is poaching. Because their organs such as horns, antlers, skins are valuable and are one of the most wanted decorations. For instance some rich people believe that affording these collections are the way to show their wealth, while others just want to satisfy their tastes. The second reason is deforestation. During these fast times, people usually aim to make more shelters, which means destroying the animals’ habitats, their food and safe areas to live, leading to competition between the same species. Also this can lead to being easily spotted and killed. And the last one is wasting energy leading to increasing combustion of oil and coal. As a result of carbon dioxide emission and following global warming, that means the earth’s temperature increases. According to a local university published paper shows that almost half of animals in woods cannot adapt to the increasing heat and are likely to live not long.
The way to solve this problem is changing human behavior. Most of them usually think that killing these wild animals is not wrong, on the other hand it makes their income. The strict laws about wild species which included heavy fines or jail would definitely make the number of these behaviours decrease. At the same time, many people don’t realize hunting down or cutting down trees are morally wrong and think of the effects of their behavior in following such an unbalanced ecology. The solution to this problem is giving educated adults and children to firstly think about the effects that will happen next. The last solution for CO2 releasing problems is encouraging governments of countries which are mainly generating their electricity relying on coal fuel to select clean energy such as nuclear power, wind and solar.
In conclusion, it is true that many wild animals are extinct and endangered. All of the reasons for this is human behavior which can be solved by giving education and using clean energy.
