We live in an age when some of us are having complete location freedom to work from different cities or countries without geographic limits like office buildings. In this essay i will be considering both pros and cons of this case with well supported examples, emphasizing that if either advantages overcomes disadvantages or opposite.
To begin with benefits of such situation, it gives a chance to create more comfort zone for individuals while they are working if they are free to choose their working place on their own. If we work in the enviroment where we feel more comfortable, preferably a room of our own, we will find it easier to adjust mentally to the activity when we enter that area. It is advisable that we should have everything that we might need at hand and at our own home we can deside how long and how many of the equipments we use according to our personal preferences unlike office atmosphere.
Additionally, there are also few drawbacks that we should take in account. Despite the number of opportunities above that remote work provides, when you work away from offical conditions over the time, this may eventually lead us to deviate from academic style and feeling less confidient in formal events. Since we get used to working only in convenient cases, we might have lots of challenges when we have to deal with our work in official situations like meetings. For example, struggling coping with academic language during speeches in front of big audience or feeling less confident demonstrating our projects at stages and so on.
Weighing up both sides of the argument, in spite of the fact that working far from offices gives us a range of opportunities for us to build better environment to work, it may also contribute to make us weaken our academic working style that gradually cause us to perform poorly in formal cases. I personally believe that disadvantages prevail advantages of working away from offices.
