Some people argue that modern celebrations focus too much on enjoyment,neglecting the deeper meanings while I agree that enjoyment needs to be the priority in the festivals, I do not agree that people have forgotten the original meaning of festivals.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that religious and traditional festivals have certainly become times for celebration. In Uzbekistan,Navruz can be good example for celebration,In Navruz people might give present to each, make delicious traditional foods and make their happy,but they know the reason why they are celebrating the festival.In this day, first reason of celebrating this festival is that night and day are equal.
Furthermore,the other reason to prove my point is celebrating religious festivals.Knowing the original meaning of the festival is far more important so that people should not forget main aim of this festivals.Most of people in Uzbekistan are muslims and they need to know that sharing good mood is a nice dead in our religion.So that they take pleasure with not forgetting the meaning.
To conclude the discussion, it can be said that although people mainly want to enjoy themselves during festivals,I believe that they are still aware of the reasons for these celebrations.
