It is argued that more people have forgotten the original meaning behind every historic festivity or religious event which has changed the form of celebration in recent years due to several reasons. However, I agree with the given statement. This might be because of the changing public’s tendency and time deficiency to celebrate this kind of local celebration.
On the one hand, in recent years with globalization and the advent of social media apps, people’s tendencies have changed. It is more likely that the culture and lives of people have undergone these criteria which has altered the public’s lifestyle. That is to say, more people tend to follow Western culture instead of their history. Take charismas which some have been celebrated in my country as well in comparison with another traditional event should be commemorated as considerable example. This issue might lead to forgetting the original meaning of some historic celebrations.
On the one hand, regarding with fast-paced pace nature of modern life in recent years, it is clear that, the value of family gatherings has been declining in contrast with past decades. Therefore, many people only some special occasions where people can hang out with their family members and engage in conversation and talk about what happened in their lives during that period. Moreover, the more time people find the more they like to enjoy and celebrate as maximum and effective to strengthen their bonds. This might lead to forgetting local traditions.
In conclusion, I do believe that the true meaning of historical occasions has been forgotten associated with lack of time and the consequences of globalization.
