It is true that in the present day, many individuals decide not to work for large corporations and instead choose to work independently. However, this trend may cause several problems, and several solutions should be taken into account to tackle it.

A range of problems resulting from being self-employed are worth mentioning. One of the problems is the lack of benefits. Without benefits, individuals may struggle to manage unexpected medical expenses or plans for the future. They may be worry about their well-being, healthcare, financial stability in the long term. Another problems that self-employed people may face is isolation. They lack resources or support that larger companies can provide. It limit their ability to collaborate or gain support in times of need. As a result, they may feel stressed, uncertain and difficult to maintain a good mental health.

To address these problems, several solutions should be implemented. One way to solve the problem is to seek for the private benefits. Freelancers can buy private health insurance, retirement plans to ensure their healthcare and save for retirement. Moreover, saving emergency fund is crucial to deal with unexpected costs. Another way to solve the problem is to build a network of other self-employed individuals in your industry to get support or advises. It also provides great opportunities to collaborate with other small business owners.

In conclusion, it is clear that there are many challenges of being self-employed such as the lack of benefits and isolation. However, by seeking private benefits and building support system can address these challenges.
