One major advantage of representing arts from the origin country is giving people the sense of national identity and feeling of proud of their country. In this way, people would get familiar with their own country’s arts and start supporting artists economically. Artists, therefore, feel more committed to their society and make great deal of valuable artwork. For example, a painter whose arts is encouraged by many people, starts making more paintings and would know that their work can be purchased by curators or individuals.
However, displaying international artworks in galleries is also crucial. Introducing foreign painters, sculptures, photographers and their artworks artwork is not only giving the chance of learning about other countries’ culture, it is a way to make better cultural and societal connection and cooperation internationally.
