After getting old, people often seeks help. But in the fast paced environment, not everybody have someone to have their back. That’s when old age come appears, this is the best place for old people. They would be looked after very well by the nurses. However, that comes with an expense which sometimes paid by the government or the family.
There are many individuals who do not have anyone in their family especially in Britian, making it impossible to be fund by the family member. Government incentives are great for these individuals, this would make their old age life little better.
Whilst, some old people are willingly going to live in old age home as they wanted to be around old people. Usually, their children are beyond happy to pay for their health and other needs. Additionally, in today’s time adults do not have much time to spend with their families making it difficult for parents. Even family wants to just happiness for the old parents.
As of now, almost all of the old people wants care after certain age. So if government starts to pay for each individual, the numbers are going to touch the sky. They would need more fund to spend on old age care, which I think is not reasonable. There is so many other things where government can use their fund for the growth of youth and the country. Furthermore, I think family is the only responsible for their old parents care. Government can definetely help individuals who do not have family or cannot afford to get the care.
