Nowadays many people are trying to travel abroad on holidays to spend a memorable time and explore new cultures. However, I believe that in the future many of them will prefer to spend holidays in their own country due to the high cost of travel and accommodation in foreign countries.
Many YouTube and Facebook bloggers are giving more concern for their own country’s landscapes, ancient places, beaches, and modern buildings to attract the residents of their country for domestic tourism, and actually, I am genuinely excited about it. That also provides a new job opportunity in the tourism sector. In addition to that, it saves a lot of hard currency. From another point of view, some foreign countries don’t welcome Arabs and show racism.
Governments must give more concern for domestic tourism by establishing policies that facilitate entering of ancient places, museums, and monuments for native people. Nevertheless, they have to update their infrastructure, for instance, new roads to enable people to reach deserted ancient temples and make arrival and departure more smooth and easy.
Last year, I decided to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of my daily routine and to give myself the chance to relax and feast my eyes with the beauty of nature. So, due to my finances being limited, I chose to discover new places in my country, especially Sharm El Sheikh.
The trip was fascinating. Views, mountains, and beaches are breathtaking.despite, long drive and expensive accomodaion like hotels which may cost 3000 egyptian pound for only a night.
