News creators are the ones who make decisions about TV shows and the press design and their informational content. The main factor affecting the result is usually the level of commitment and interest from citizens in the report. I am of the opinion that audience can become accustomed to negative information translated in mass media because of its spread. However, a great amount of positive news reported can make a difference to people’s world perception.
Nowadays press editors are desperately looking for a sensation but the way they choose to announce this piece of information is much superior than the plot. For instance, spectators stand less of a chance to be attracted by the black and white paper of a magazine compared to the one with a striking colourful headline.
Due to some disturbing events happening worldwide some individuals may find negative information outweigh the optimistic news. Social media is on top of dissemination and a crucial part of every person in modern society. So, it can be concluded that the vast majority of the population is influenced by the occasions. Especially those compassionate and with high empathy.
Another opinion is that people would benefit from being aware of a greater amount of data provided. It will work only with the condition that all excessive news contains inspiring details. Otherwise, the audience may be unduly distressed which can lead to the lack of concentration during working hours and even burnout because of wasted on bad information emotions.
In conclusion, while it can be considered that a lot of content enhances individuals’ lives, this solution is effective only as a one-way measure. I believe that human beings are very sensitive creatures that are susceptible to being easily thrown off balance, so media output should be sorted mindfully.
