These days, it has become common phenomenon to relocate from family and friends due to work. I believe that negative consequences of moving away for work outweigh positive outcomes.
One argument in favor of relocating due to work is professional and personal development. In other words, when someone moves to new locations it can open up new career opportunities, including high salaries. Working in new environment with new people will definitely strengthen one’s adaptability and foster personal growth and independence. In long term, people get better work positions and better quality of life.
However, there are two main disadvantages attributed to this trend. First, moving away from can weaken family bonds. Missing out important family events can lead to feeling isolated and disconnected. There are also many cases of divorce in consequence of being separated from family. A further issue for this trend is emotional impact it can have on people. Loneliness and homesickness can affect mental well-being and overall quality of life. Adjusting to new environment can be also stressful and overwhelming, and require considerable effort, thus many people have a depression of strength.
In conclusion, although mowing away for work have some advantages such as better career opportunities, emotional impact and separation from family affect more on individuals.
