It is common journalists to take pictures of celebrities. Many say this is good as their fans get updates while others disagree and say it is not right to disturb them all the time. I think media must allow celebrities some freedom, although taking pictures and sharing them allowsinternational fans to get latest updates.
On the one hand, taking photos of famous individuals and posting them get more viewers and they get more popular. This is because, popular individuals have a set of fans and followers who check their status updates everyday. Hence, professional journalists help them to share recent updates of daily lives of actors and sports-icons. Instagram had around millions of thank you note from fans and followers around the globe for posting baby Deepika’s pictures from day oe she left the hospital. Yet, celebrities deserve some freedom, hence media must not bother them by clicking pictures all the time.
On the other hand, almost every famous icon now has security team to escort them in public places. This is because, cameramen and media disturb them all the time by taking pictures. As a result, famous people travel with their bodyguards or try to hide from the public. The India Today recently shared an article and confirmed around 13% actors and actresses have newly hired security service to protect them from photographers and media. This is one reason, I think media must not disturb popular individuals night and day.
To conclude although, professional photographers help popular men and women to get more fans and followers to get regular updates, I think famous people must be give freedom to enjoy their daily routine without media following them everywhere they go.
