It is a widely acknowledged fact of the modern era that the multinational corporations are increasingly offering foreign work trips to its employees for shorter durations. From my vantage point, the stated phenomenon is not only beneficial for workers but also advantageous for the corporations.
At the outset, without any doubt, there are multifarious merits to staff members. First and foremost, workers are more likely to relax in the foreign countries. This is mainly because employees often feel burnout and mental stress by continuously working at same place. However, foreign exposure can do wonders on their mental health, and give them a sense of satisfaction with their current job. Apart from this, staff get an opportunity to improve their communication skills. For instance, English is an international language, and workforce from developing countries may significantly improvise their language skills with regular conversations with English speakers abroad, which will not only boost their confidence but also make their personality stronger.
In addition to this, although workers’ benefits are worthwhile to consider, certain advantages to companies cannot be overlooked. The primarily one is the businesses would experience substantial profits because after learning about the global market trends employees often utilize their knowledge to increase the sales of their company by attracting foreign clients. Therefore, corporations may focus more on the current international customers, which would ultimately lead to significant gains, and growth to the business. Moreover, when employees’ satisfaction increase, workers tend to stick for longer periods of time to the same organization. As a result, employers also less likely to exhaust their valuable resources on hiring the new staff and providing the training, which would save the over expenditure of the organization.
To recapitulate, By keeping in mind all the points mentioned above, I would like to reiterate that the given development is a win-win situation for both employees and employers.
