Today, the volume of the information and platform involved with arts and entertainment are growing significantly. In my opinion, this change has both benefits and drawbacks in eaqual measure.
On the positive side, firstable, it is ecofriendly. Since the access to various information and resources is available with using devises, it allows society to reduce the use of paper. Therefore, the deforestation may be alleviated due to this development. Second, the average amount of informaton people acquire increased considerably. For example, a large number of indivisuals today use social media and internet services, and the news or tips or academic knowledge can be found more easier than looking up books. Moreover, by using those platforms, information can be shared worldwide in short term.
Next on the negative side, there might be few opportunities to have hand-on experiences. For instance, thesedays there is little need for the museum because people can see the historical paints or artfacts in the video or image in phone or laptop. This tendency may lead to diminish its meaning of the arts and may have undesirable inpacts on children’s education. Another notable drawback is the effect of misinformation. There are a lot of examples which missinformation caused widespread missunderstanding amoung people or some people bear damage by believing that.
In conclusion, there are both effects on sociey; environmental conservation and the convinience of access to information for benefits, and decreasing hands-on experiences and expansion of missinformation for drawbacks, by the disitisation of arts’ and entertainment’s information and resources.
