These days many people prefer wearing modern and fashionable clothes to wearing traditional and comfortable ones. This activity can lead to the disappearance of national traditions of peoples. Hence I consider this trend to be negative in preserving national identity.
On the one hand, the demand for fashionable outfits is increasing among people. This development is coming from eastern and western countries. All of the world trade centers are selling modern and trendy attires. For instance, my people the Uzbeks are also moving towards this type of activity. As a result Uzbek national is losting their identity namely ancient tradition, national clothes. In today’s world not only women and men ,but also modern teenagers are glued to trendy outfits over public or traditional attire.
On the other hand, advantage of modern clothes is the preference they receive. As a result many merchants benefit from this. They sell a lot of goods because of the great demand. I think this situation is also good for the state’s economy. Actually, many factories and countries are getting rich thanks to the sale of this clothing.
In summary, these situations has benefits and drawbacks. From one perspective it seems beneficial, on one side it has its drawbacks.
