These days, majority of people believe that interacting with people online is better way of socialisation, while others think that socialising face to face is better. Technology has a good impact on humanity, with the help of it people can easily communicate with each other by using different applications. Meanwhile, people in the past had difficulties interacting due to limited technology. However, in my point of view, this issue brings both positive and negative impacts on socialization.
To commence, there are many online applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and so on that help people to ease communication. That means people can communicate with each other just by sitting in on place, not wasting energy and time to meet with people. For instance, during the COVID-19 people were not allowed to leave their houses, and people couldn’t communicate with each other. For that reason people did different meetings by using online applications.
However, the much online socialisation can lead to different damages to people. That is to say, using internet more than needed can harm people make their vision worse. For example, the number of people with impaired vision raised to 200% after COVID-19 quarantine, and 80% of them impaired their vision by only using electronic gadgets.
To conclude, socialising online has a positive impacts on people communication with other people. Nevertheless, it is necessary to have a face to face communication too.
