Nowadays, possibility to receiving education online is widely held as well as classical full-time training. It is clear that this trend is becoming more and more popular and demonstrates both merits and drawbacks. 36
First of all, part-time study’s fame is rapidly growing due to bigger amount of spare hours that students obtain. Lectures generally stars not as early as in regular offline education, mostly between nine and ten o’clock in the morning. Likewise, breaks after classes are really relaxing, because they take place at homes, where it is more comfortable. Furthermore, students not forced to wasting time to get to schools and university, what requires hours at the moments, accordingly they have opportunity to spend them for underworking or preparation to the exams or practical trainings.
Nevertheless, the visible shortcoming is lack of communication. It is quiet significant to the young people to learn how to socialize in such collective as university or college groups. Besides, after-lesson activities and student unions give a hand to train teamwork’s skills and help to make friends, which share each other’s interests and can be a support in difficult situations. Unfortunately, online study cannot introduce it in the sufficient number. Dearth of this aspects may lead to uncertainty in the communication and inability deal with stressful conflicts.
In conclusion, part-time study is convenient and comfortable way to get education, but it’s disadvantage are outweigh the benefits. Social skills are one of the main in our lives and universities and schools seems to learn us them.
