Technology has changed the interaction of individuals with each other recently. I would argue that this is a positive development, since it allows people to communicate from remote locations and let them chat whenever they want without planning a meeting.
Firstly, distance was the major and remarkable reason why people could not interact with each other. However, technology assists people to develop long distance relationships. Individuals who work far from their families can communicate with each other fundamentally. They can easily observe their child’s growth, so they can hear the first words of their children and experience the first steps that ware taken by their children. For example, it is recorded in various countries that the number of married couples who have different cultures and speak separate languages increased dramatically, since the technology allows them to communicate across long distances.
Additionally, the other positive side of this development is that people can chat with each other without planning a meeting. Planning a meeting can be sometimes demanding for those who work a lot. They suffer from time management, so they cannot provide themselves with more leisure time which they utilize in order to participate in such meetings. In this circumstances, technology allows them to have an access to chat with their relatives anytime they want. In instance, there are numerous applications such as Skype and Zoom which let busy people participate in meetings.
To sum up, I strongly believe that there are more positive sides than negative ones. Thanks to technology, people can communicate with each other over long distances and can participate in meetings without planning.
