In recent years, most women work full time alongside men. Due to this, some people believe they should share household tasks. Personally, I agree that men and women should share household tasks equally, especially since in modern times they both work full time. This essay will dive into why I believe so.
First of all, with both parents staying home, it significantly reduces stress on the mother to take care of household chores. This is because the father can also contribute to taking care of the children, cleaning dishes, and other tasks. As such, the mental as well as physical wellbeing of women would increase significantly. This reduces burnouts and depressive stages, ensuring a healthy family in the future.
Another reason why I agree is because men can then learn how to perform the tasks themselves. Doing household chores can teach skills such as handling toddlers, cooking meals as well as cleaning the house. These tasks cannot be learned at work, so being able to handle those chores can come especially when the women aren’t present or are sick. Furthermore, it creates a responsible man who can help around the house.
