Band 7+: Nowadays,a growing number of people are moving to cities ,and this has contributed to increased pollution levels. What problems does this cause? What measures can be taken to solve these problems?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Today, more and more people are choosing to live in cities. While this gives them better job and education opportunities, it also causes more pollution. This essay will explain the problems caused by this situation and suggest some possible solutions.

One of the main problems is air pollution. As the population grows in cities, more people use cars, buses, and motorcycles. These vehicles release smoke and harmful gases into the air, which can cause breathing problems and other health issues. Another problem is the large amount of waste. Big cities produce a lot of rubbish every day, and if it is not managed properly, it can pollute the land and water. This can harm animals, plants, and people who live nearby.

To solve these problems, the government should take strong actions. First, they can improve public transport systems so that fewer people use private cars. This will help reduce air pollution. Second, the authorities should build better recycling and waste management systems. People also need to be educated about how to recycle and reduce waste at home. Lastly, cities can plant more trees and create green areas, which help clean the air and make the environment healthier.

In conclusion, the movement of people to cities has led to serious pollution problems. However, with better public transport, waste control, and education, we can reduce pollution and create cleaner and safer cities for everyone.

Nowadays technology is influencing modern art in areas such as design, painting and film. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, design, painting, film and further art fields are mostly influenced by technology. This innovation is depatable, but deeply I feel that it is rather beneficial. On the one hand, poetically said, technology may take away the human soul in arts. In case of letting automatic tools do most of the steps, there is no […]

The causes behind it might be the decreased cost of production, combined with increased expectations of life quality. As a result of their decisions to throw things out quickly, […]

Although both nature and nurture play a role in personality, a number of large scale twin studies suggest that there is a strong genetic component. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The personality of a human is shaped by several attributes. As individuals grow up, the society in which they thrive, contributes largely to their personality. Although factors like nature and nurture play a role in personality development, I strongly agree with the claim that genetics play a more significant role in this process. Nature, environment […]

Should individuals be responsible for recycling, or should society/government take action? Discuss.

Recycling is an essential process in today’s day and age, and whether private citizens or the government and society as a whole should take on the initiative remains a large debate.
