Nowadays, news from the Internet are not trust-worthy at all, and it is a popular journalists who people should believe to. To a large extent, I agree with this statement.
There are several factors supporting the idea that the Internet is not a reliable source of the truth. Considering the fact that the Internet consists all kinds of information which means that there are some truth and some fake news.In the Internet it is a common notion to chase attention using any ways. In other words, people post mind-blowing information about someone or something without any evidence or confirmation that it is true. Some people merely desire to damage reputation of celebrities, due to the fact that online news are not for people awareness, it is mostly for attention. In addition, online news from television are usually controled by government; which decides wheather share this information with society or not. For example, in the year of 2022, COVID-19 was a huge problem worldwide; the level of mortality was over-whelming. However, not a single news chanel told people about the reason why this virus even existed. Furthermore, it was one journalist, who investigated and found out that China created this virus. Therefore, journalist are trust-worthy, taking into account the fact that they work with passion, and without seekness of attention or popularity. They are on the citizens’ side and will to tell all the truth without any coverage.
In conclusion, online news have too much reasons and these causes do not include the truth, it is merely not profitable, meanwhile recognised jouranlists already have a decent reputation among society, and have clear aims to share the truth.
