It is true that parents should motivate their children to engage in part-time employment in their spare time. I strongly agree with the opinion above because working part-time has multiple benefits.
I agree with the idea that teenagers should work part-time because it can help them to improve personal skills. This is because, when communicating with other people and work in a team, they can develop numerous soft skills, such as communication skills, problem-solving skills, which are of great importance when they enter the employment market. As a result, teenagers might become more professional, proficient in interpersonal skills, enabling them to have better job opportunities when they graduate. Meanwhile, for students not working part-time, teenagers have a tendency to spend much of their leisure time playing video games or social media, which could be negative as they are more likely to have mental health and physical health problems.
Furthermore, teenagers can learn financial management when having employment while still in school may. The reason for this is that they can learn money management early, for example, saving for college or making early investments. Thus, they can become responsible and forward-thinking when it comes to money. In contrast, children who lack experience of making money theirselves might waste money on unnecessary purchases, especially when they become adults, as they are not aware of money management. In short, it may result in unstable life.
In conclusion, I totally agree with the opinion that adolescent kids should be supported by their parents to work part-time. It helps children to acquire important skills such as interpersonal skills and financial management.
