It is believed that parents’ encouragement for their offspring to get a part-time job in their free time is necessary. From my perspective, despite their children’s study tension, I agree with this statement because of the practical skills that such an occupation offers.
Granted, some may argue that with a high volume of study load, teenagers struggle with the tension and knowledge density in their schools, which means applying for a job can put more pressure on them. Therefore, spending their time off in some recreational activities is essential for them to release stress. However, this challenge can be easily solved by choosing their favorite and level-appreciate job, which not only gives young people an opportunity to do their preferred activities but also expands their circle of friendships.
Furthermore, cultivating practical skills can further exemplify the benefit of a part-time job. It is undeniable that getting this job also means teenagers have to be exposed to labor earlier, and have hands-on experience, which can boost their teamwork, communication, and social skills. Therefore, teenagers are likely to have career prospects enhancement and be accustomed to the workplace environment in the future. For example, when young people become assistants, they need to advertise the products to the customers, and they can even pick up some marketing gimmicks from their employers, which can lay the foundation for their future careers.
In conclusion, I believe that parents’ stimulation for their teenagers to do a part-time job is beneficial because of the chance to do their favorite occupation and practical skills development.
