It is true that parents should support their children to work part-time in their spare time. I agree with the opinion above because working part-time has multiple benefits.
I agree with the idea that parents of teens can motivate them to have employment while still in school during their time off because the teenagers can be learning soft skills. This is because they have to continuously interact with many people such as managers, colleagues, customers even children, and work in a team. Therefore, it is easier for them to improve their communication skill with others. As a result, teenagers become more and more professional and proficient in interpersonal skills. Meanwhile, teenage children not working part-time so they have many leisure time which brings negative when they spend time playing video games or social media. As a result, it leads to poor academic results.
Moreover, when the adolescent kids take part in a part-time job in their free time it can help them learn financial management. It is because this can be the first time they hard-working to earn money depending on their abilities, they have money from that part-time job and they can save for college and make early investments. Therefore, they learn money management early. This results in, they are becoming increasingly responsible and forward-thinking. In contrast, teens not working part-time tend to might waste money on unnecessary purchases when become adults. Consequently, they have an unstable life in the future.
In conclusion, I agree with the opinion that adolescent kids should be supported by their parents to work in their free time. It helps children learn important skills such as interpersonal skills and financial management.
