The main goal in upbringing process is cultivating ethical principles in children since they are young. This process is complicated so it has made a hot debate among people. Some of them see that the most important part in this process is the parents, because they have influence in their children. On the other hand, many people say that schools are the best way to give the children moral principles due to the experiences with other children
Houses are considered the first stage in the upbringing process. At young age, children are affected by their parents, and they saw them as a role model. So, the parent’s responsibility is to enhance their children’s principles, they can do this in two points. First, when the child misbehavior the parent’s responsibility is to understand the circumstances that push the child to act like this, after that they should take a smooth debate to educate the children who to control their reaction. Second, the children always mimic their parent’s action, this point pushes the parents to avoid bad reaction, because they know that their children will act like them. As a result, good houses environment lead to promoting children’s self-confidents.
School is the second place where children spend their time, so it has a huge influence on the children behavior. The supporters of the idea of school’s educating children more than parents, build their situation on 2 points. First, school is a small community, so it has children from different ages and social classes. This verity of students educates the children to learn how to deal and communicate with foreign individual not just their parents and children of the same age. Second, schools give the children a sense of freedom to act away from their parents watch, this sense push them to act normally. The students are watched by teachers, whom responsibility to show that always with bad behavior there are consequences. These points led to sharp children’s ability to deal with problem.
In conclusion, schools and houses can not work alone, they have to cooperate to achieve the main goal of upbringing process. Which is sharping the children’s awareness.
