It is apparent that the world is advancing with the introduction of technology, including its impact which can be observed in numerous facets of human life. From that, people now can earn a larger quantity of income than in the past, and some of them show that they refuse to do taxes to the state as they preserve it for themselves. From my perspective, i do not agree with this belief.

There are several reasons why tax should be paid. First, the revenue from it will go to the government’s savings, which is used not only for the governor’s salary but also for the country’s investment. From that, the citizens will have more opportunities to access modern facilities and services, which obviously benefit their quality of life.

For instance, in Canada, hospital bills will be paid by the government instead of residents, and the money used to do this is from their own nation’s savings from taxes and insurance.

Furthermore, the fees also contribute to social balance since not everyone has to pay the same amount of money;the wealthier they are, the larger the payment they have to make. The reason is both to demonstrate whether the income is legal or not and to reduce the socioeconomic gap in society. For instance, a record shows that nearly one-fifth of the money from taxes is utilized to support people with disadvantaged backgrounds, which means that when we pay taxes, we are involved in charity.

To conclude, it is an unacceptable behavior to avoid paying taxes in many individuals and businesses as it should be prevented. However, in daily life, there are still a lot of people and companies that refuse to do this and they should be fined.
