A group of people assert that citizens should retain all their earnings without paying taxes to the state. I personally disagree this point of views, and this essay will outline it.
Firstly, taxes are allocated for various kinds of matters that essential for the grant of public goods and services. Without taxes, residents are not be utilised a provision of public facilities, such as transportation, medical services, education or even safety. For example, if each individuals kept only their incomes, public services such as the hospital health care systems or public schools would lose the tax resources that were needed to continue operating their services. Thus, this leads to a decrease in the quality of life of the community and even faces many obstacles in maintaining the political stability of a nation.
Secondly, there is no denying that taxes are used by the government for reducing income inquality and accelerating social equity. It is a fact that those withhigher earningspay larger ratio of taxes, therefore, the government can redistribute wealth and offer assistance or subsidy to the less fortunate. Finland, for instance, is considered the happiest country with the highest taxes in the wolrd. Moreover, taxes that people have paid are used for their retirement funds when their aging. Thus, people should not keep their earnings to themselves and they should pay their tax duties and obligations.
In conclusion, it seems to me that residents should be obliged to pay taxes in full to be able to receive supplies from public services and to reduce public inequality.
