In the contemporary era, there has been a claim that citizens are entitled to keep their own money earned instead of contributing to taxes. From my perspective, paying taxes assists the government to construct and administer the nation effectively, yet keeping all the money earned allows individuals to have a better living condition. In this essay, I will provide rationales for my opinions.
Initially, paying taxes to the state promotes the comprehensive development of the country. As the national budget has to be utilized for public benefits or national projects which facilitate the nation to enhance swiftly, residents will take advantage of these. To be more precise, it is necessary to have enough financial resources to maintain and train the army of the nation, thereby requiring monetary support from the community. In this way, not only will citizens be conducive to maximizing the scope of living in the safe areas, but the power of the country will be advanced, arousing the proliferation of other facets. In case that there are a number of wars appearing in a particular country, it is difficult for them to focus and dedicate their energy in studying and harnessing other aspects such as education and health which contribute to the hectic growth of the country.
Conversely, residents keeping all their money earned can be beneficial in improving living conditions. In the developing world, humans encounter a plethora of difficulties in their lives, thereby needing finance to solve these. It can be exemplified by the high living standards in the developed countries like Finland and America. It is necessary for individuals to have a strong monetary source to live well, especially international students. It is explicit that educational fees are prohibitively expensive for them to pay easily, so if mitigating the money paid to the state, international pupils can reduce some financial burdens and concentrate on studying effectively rather than finding the solutions to these hindrances.
In conclusion, citizens keeping all the money earned or paying tax to the state has both merits and downsides. Although they can have a better life if they save all of them, this will provoke obstacles for the government to maintain the nation.
