being paid to the government. In my opinion, I partially agree with the above statement since paying tax the state will ultimately benefit the public.
On the one hand, it is understandable for the people’s desire to own their earnings. This is because they have to devote time, effort and even health to their work in order to gain wage. In other words, it is reasonable to claim that they are deserved to keep their incomes for themselves as a reward for their productiveness. Additionally, owing to the fact that money ownership belongs to the workers, they should have rights to decide how to use their money.
However, in the long run and for the sake of any country’s development, citizens should obey the law making them account for the states’ budget. This can be explained as the key factor for creating a convenient life for the dwellers. To be more specific, the tax contributed to the government’s budget would later be used for public needs such as advanced infrastructure and welfare. Hence, paying tax to the state literally is beneficial to citizens.
In conclusion, despite the reason for people to keep all their money, which is the result of their efforts, citizens have a responsibility to contribute to the state’s budget. By doing this, not only do they benefit themselves finally but they also contribute to the national growth.
