Every country in the world has income tax rules and regulations. The debate has been going on for years about whether to pay tax to the government or not on the money people earn. Even protests against governments are happening in some countries around the globe on this matter.
Some people think that whatever money they are earning, they should keep it all and should not pay tax to the state because it is their hard-earned money. They believe that sometimes governments are corrupt and their money is not getting used as it should be. In some countries, tax rules are so complicated that people have to pay money at every step in their expenditures. So, they hesitate to pay their earnings as a tax.
However, I disagree with this thought because income tax does contribute to any nation’s development as it is a large source of money for the government. For instance, public funds can be used to build infrastructure, to develop new technologies, to construct transport networks like roads, railways, waterways, and airports that are very crucial for the country’s growth. Schools and hospitals can be built for the people who cannot afford expensive education and high health expenses, as they are basic needs of any human being.
In conclusion, as a responsible citizen, everyone should pay tax for their country’s better future because that is where they are going to live for the rest of their lives.
