In recent years, there has been increasing debate on the necessity of estate ownership triggered by concerns of life settlement and the elevating price of properties. From my perspective, while there are some potential drawbacks, the benefits offered by this trend are apparent.
To commence with, owners of houses or apartments are generally entitled to a sense of security and profitable investments. Regarding the former, a self-owned house is equivalent to a guaranteed living space, eliminating both the anxiety of having to pay rent and the fear of losing homes. For instance, when a leasing contract ends, if it is not renewed by the lessor, the tenants are forced to move. Moreover, as the price of properties increases steadily due to inflation and the scarcity of land, estate buyers are likely to generate significant profit when selling their properties later on.
Looking at the impacts of the trend, the importance placed on purchasing houses can be an effective source of motivation for citizens as well as a boost to economic growth. To elaborate, the desire to own a house might prompt people to work harder and more diligently to improve their earnings. This target will act as an external motivation for citizens to constantly enhance their skills, thus resulting in more rapid success. Consequently, the betterment in productivity of the workforce and willingness to learn may produce more skillful and experienced personnel. In the long term, faster developments and more remarkable sales across all sectors are foreseeable results, which contribute directly to the augmentation of tax and GDP figures.
All things considered, the emphasis put on house ownership in some nations is comprehensible owning to financial opportunity and the need for stable housing. Personally, this is a movement to be welcomed due to the motivational and economic advantages it offers.
