It is argued that people’s life quality in the contemporary era has significantly changed compared with the past centuries. From my perspective, I agree with this statement due to the developments of education, and medical services.
Initially, in the current world, education plays an important role in strengthening our steps to approach better lives. Firstly, many governments tend to highly focus on education and consider it as the most important aspect of the country when students have to learn general levels which start from primary school to high school. This can be also seen in completing fundamental education programs and learning essential skills from school is compulsory for students to make them live on their feet. For example, Vietnamese in 1945 had to suffer illiteracy caused by wars made Vietnam one of the poorest countries in South East Asia. The people’s access of education contributed to making the country richer and more powerful by picking up knowledge on the high technology of agriculture export rice.
Moreover, the improvement of medical services is the main point to assist people live longer. Nowadays, many developed countries such as the USA have created opportunities for families having infants to access medical services for completely free, therefore their health can be ensured. Moreover, this is undeniable that the improvement of medical services has led to the downward trend of facility rate due to infections of the past such as polio due to the early vaccinations of children at a very young age.
To conclude, the 21st century has achieved many positive changes in human society, such as the higher standard of education, the better quality of medical services.
