The old and aged are generally weak and incapable of doing most daily tasks by themselves. Despite this fact, the young ones of these days, have less time on their hands to contribute to their care. This essay outlines a reason for this effect along with an idea that can help mitigate it.
To begin with, increasing workloads for average and common human beings is a major obstacle for the care of the aged. Most of the time, a man or woman is seen working for about ten to twelve hours per day for a period of five days a week. This can increase further depending on employer requirements while, employers these days tend to fully utilize their resources. Moreover, the young people of the modern era tend to hang out with their coworkers as a breath of fresh air over coming back early. Hence, the old ones are left on their own with their feeble and greatly undermined body.
On the other hand, it is often seen that few people learn early about a common fact which is, every person once young will eventually get older becoming weak and requiring aid. A very effective way to solve this problem would be to provide education to youngsters about a sense of responsibility. For instance, before starting of regular coursework in school, they can be taught about helping grandparents. Lessening the burden on them even for daily tasks can be a great contribution to their families. As such, through proper teaching process, this issue can be resolved.
In conclusion, the jobs of the ordinary can be a big hindrance to the care of the aged whereas, naivety among the undereducated can be removed through proper educational process thus contributing to a fix permanently for the issue.
