There is a common belief that pepole, suffering from fatal illneses, should be allowed to invoke the rights to take their life. I partially agree with the statement, due to pointless pain patients with limited bodily functions endure,although the safeguards should be taken.
One primary reason for allowing patinets to carry out suicide is truncating their torment from diseases, which can be hardly treated or are incurable . Limited bodily functions and permanent pain can deprive not only joy of life , but also their will to live , and the most ethical way would be to allow them to perform euthanasia. In this way their families could avoid spendings on doctors and medicicne, helping them to stay alive. In Netherlands, The law permitting to carry out suicide has recently been implemented and perceived as succesful.
Nevertheless, implemention of the law can lead to planned murders ,since there arent any guarantess that the patietn had will to die, And even though, the pack of documents would be required to perform suicide , people, especially with limited bodily functions, wouldnt be able to ensure their safe. This,in turn, might give a rise to murderers and other criminals, increasing the level of crimes. In the whole world, this is the only one reason against the euthanasia
To sum up, Some people believe that carrying out suicide should be legalised for severly sick patietns in order to save money of their relatives and end their torment. However,the right can be used for murders, making it more controversial.
