In recent times, climate change has become a global issue but there is not enough action to resolve or decline excessive consumerism and contamination. I strongly agree with this statement to a large extent. My viewpoint is explained further in the upcoming paragraphs.
Explaining my viewpoint, the first argument that I still forward is development and urbanization. To elaborate further, most people migrate to urban areas for better opportunities like education, employment and better medical facilities which could disturb the natural habitat of wildlife and deforestation. Moreover, another reason is lack of strict rules and regulations by the government. It is observed that authority does not take any strict against individuals who are engaged in illegal poaching of animals and smuggling of natural products. Furthermore, because of the excessive demand of the plant-based and animal-based products, many individuals illegally killed wild animals and earn a huge amount of money.
Apart from this, it is perceived that government does no take an strict against the companies or production units which contaminate rivers and oceans by releasing harmful and poisonous chemicals. To add more, government also does not have any strict laws and regulations against the companies which release harmful gases like methane and carbon monoxide. Global warning and extreme climatic conditions has become a serious issue because of the liberal rules and regulations and lack of proper measures taken by the government.
To sum up, it can be stated that climatic conditions has ben becoming worst because of deforestation, illegal hunting of animals and contamination of air and water by manufacturing factories. Besides this, government is not taking any proper precautions to resolve this issue. I believe that authority as well as local people should take strict action against this and protect the environment from this serious issue.
