Some say the traffic is becoming serious issue due to the busy roads where there is too much cars that the road can fit into, as solution its stated that more tolls should be paid by the drivers which will decrease the traffic, this essay disagrees with this statement, well having those ideas in action it will not work basically because most of the drivers would be able to afford the new toll and it will be difficult to collect the money from the drivers.
The main reason for why these extrem actions will not work is because majority of the drivers will afford to pay, such as rich people, taxi drivers, delivery drivers, this will creat even more traffic jam where these new suggested rules will not apply to the stated above drivers, for instance in city of London,
The second reason behind having these new tolls is such bad idea, is the money collection process, where by having booths to collect the money , it will creat even more traffic which contradicts with the idea itself, even if there are no booths and left to the drivers to pay the money in volunteeraly this will not work, because not all of them is going to pay the money not to mention the fines they will have in case they didn’t pay, which they will not pay as well, for instance in city of Cairo having booths around the city to collect the money has created more traffic in addition there is extra cost to use some highways or bridges where its ineffective for the government to keep control of the traffic since half percentage of the drivers don’t pay the tolls to use the highways.
In conclusion , having strict new road tolls is not working, since most of the drivers will be able to pay the money and its hard to collect the money form the drivesr in busy roads, I do believe this new method is not working as well.
