Some individuals may believe that social media encompasses only negative effect on society. I partially agree with this statement and will present possible reasons.
On the one hand, young generation today obsessed with social platforms and spend most of their time in it, meaning that they do not prioritize other important features. For example, their marks at school may worsen, which leads to a lag in the school curriculum.
On the other hand, social media also has some beneficial sides. For instance in social media they can learn new things or even find hobbies. Mainly because social platforms has developed rapidly and it provides new opportunities for a child, meaning that they can find new friends with same tastes.
Nevertheless, sometimes social media is a distractor for children, however they also can uncover new abilities to make friends or find fascinating stuffs in it. However, parents have to emphasize that they should control time spent on social media of their child.
To conclude, young generation frequency use social networks wasting their whole time. As a result their academic performance is deteriorating. Despite, it also has some major advantages such providing a great opportunity to child in order to make new friends. Additionally it is essential to not let them spend more time in social media than allowed.
