Educational institutions should concentrate on teaching how to achieve success in the workplace instead of supporting students in their academic development. Although there might be some reasons to oppose this, I agree with this idea for several reasons.

This is because subjects such as history, geography, biology, and chemistry enable students to learn about nature, society, and human well-being. As a result, students can understand their surroundings and make the right decisions. Secondly, academic success can develop students’ discipline and responsibility. This is mainly because doing homework on time, preparing for exams, and studying hard requires patience and time management. Consequently, students can become more responsible for their future.
On the other hand, schools should encourage students to achieve success in the workforce rather than contributing to their academic achievement. Firstly, schools should teach children practical and professional skills. This is mainly because academic knowledge is not sufficient in workplaces; students should learn how to communicate with other people, to work in a team, and solve problems. As a result, learners can adapt easily to the work environment. Secondly, educational institutions should educate students not to be scared to make mistakes and to accept criticism. This is because student fell stressed when they receive bad results, but mistakes in the real workplace are an opportunity for development and experience. Consequently, they can learn from their mistakes and improve their performance.
