Band 4+: Scientists tell us some activities are good for health and others are bad. Despite knowing that, millions of people continue doing unhealthy activities. What are the causes and what are the solutions?

Recently findings represents that many activities can categorized as healthy and unhealthy. But nowadays many people do unhealthy activities in spite of knowing that there are have not good impact on their health. In this essay, I will discuss what occur to this and what can be done for prevent it.

It is true that, scientist and coaches advise people to do health activities for long living. Because, if we do not do enough activities each day, it possible to suffer from health problem in future life. These kinds of activities not limited by just doing some physical exercises such us fitness, running or etc. Also, people need to do brain activities like solving puzzles, do painting and etc. for prevent themselves from brain diseases like alzheimer’s. But, today, most of people neglect about their health and mostly they busy with unnecessary activities. Psychologists say that it related with our brain. From ancient times, it try to save energy for hard times like starvation, but by the evolution, this factor lose its importance in nowadays. In spite of that, some old behaviours stayed in our DNA and affect lives from different angles.

On the other hand, technological developments make people more busy than old times. Modern people do many physical and time taker activities from their devices with less movement. Additionally, some unhealthy activities have good planned by companies for attract us for commercial purpose. Especially, youth and children suffer from them more. For preventing all of them, governments must take action against unhealthy activities for protect their citizens. In this situation, educational projects and informative events with can fit the purpose. Participation of doctors and psychologists in these actions have capability to serve on purpose, too.

In conclusion, activities necessary for people to keep their mental and body health. But in spite of them, people engage with unhealthy ones. Technological and commercial have great impact on this problem. For decreasing its spreading rate, governments must take action with science members such as educational and informative projects.
