There is a view that humanity may need to create a new cosmic body in order to save life, while others disagree with this idea. Personally, I think humans may create a new planet in the coming years because of many reasons, such as the continuously rising population.
On the one hand, moving to or creating a new planet could help humanity survive in the long term. It is an open secret that the Earth is becoming more polluted and crowded every year. Because of this, people may come across many challenges related to the Earth’s condition. Therefore, scientists are obliged to find a new cosmic body, as these types of issues may destroy the Earth and humanity. Moreover, scientific research on space can also enhance new technologies on Earth. Certainly, it may positively impact the development of humanity, consolidating a long-term lifestyle among people.
On the other hand, finding a new celestial body may cause a wide range of problems because it can be risky and harmful for our world and people. Firstly, people have to allocate a huge amount of funds for space travel and rocket expenses such as fossil fuel, energy, metal, and others. Secondly, it requires many years to complete, as the cosmic time system differs greatly from our world’s system. For example, if an individual agrees to fly into space and live only 10 minutes there, in cosmic time it could take 1 year instead of 10 minutes. Undoubtedly, it negatively impacts people’s lives.
To conclude, under no circumstance should all things be in moderation, especially when it comes to creating a new planet. Although it may lead to many problems, I believe this is a better decision for everyone.
