Nowadays, science provides us a lot of information about which activities are beneficial to our health system or which can be harmful. However, millions of people continue unhealthy life style despite they understanding of their risk. There several reasons for this problem, such as addiction on bad habits, stress and lack of self-confidence.
One of the main reason why people continue unhealthy habits is that they can become addicted to them. For example, in younger generation the growing tendency to smoke cigarettes and eat to much fasd food, even though they know these activities can cause serious health problems. As a result, they addicted them and making it difficult for them the stop. In addition, many people spend too much time using their phone or playing computers instead of doing physical activities. As a result, they become less active, because of outweigh develop diseases like blood pressure, cardio vascular and diabetes mellitus. Another main reason is that modern life style can be stressful. Many people have busy schedules because of their studies or jobs, so they do not have enough time for doing exercises and prepare healthy meals. As a result, they choose junk food because it convenient and save a lot of time.
In my opinion, people should take greater responsibility to their health and emotional by choosing better options. For example, instead of fast food we choosing homeland food because it tastes much better, ingredients are convenient and it matches our health system. Government and schools can also help by providing information about healthy foods and importance of regular exercises. Moreover, people should try develop good habits, like walking everyday with their family members or neighborhoods, eating properly proportion and getting enough sleep.
In conclusion, although science explained the danger of unhealthy activities, many people continue them because of addiction, stress and their busy life style. However, greater responsibility for their lifestyle and strong self-discipline, people can gradually improve good habits and their health.
